WEDDING FEST NA
...i'm still "passing through, losing a time or two"...
...because of someone in my head/heart since i was 25, groar...
...let go huram, let go...he's not into you...
...that's since day one...
...and you lost a friend and a nobleman because of your Abnormal Feeling for him...
...i know, i know, i know - i'm improving, now he's just in my head...
...i mean, he just passed through my head last week...
...that's it. k, enough of him...
! ! ! & i J u S t L o V e W e D d I n G s ! ! !
but i hate lining up and being forced for the boquet toss
wedding held last october 7, the other post was held last october 14
...imagine just a week in between, both with common attendees :) ...
wedding decoration for under P2000all materials from divisoria
i love the butterflies

...it may take some time for me to grab that leading role......becoming a bride......share the 101......for now, i will just enjoy all my other possible roles in future weddings......name it......i've been a flower girl, carpet roller, candle 'lighter', bride's maid, wedding singer......even an assistant for a wedding photographer in arizona......come to think of it......i haven't been assigned in 'veil and cord'......coz it's too much for me to handle haha...dangerous for huram......my favorite role - being a wedding decorator......the last one that i did......it came out fine, but i was a little disappointed because of the time constraint......the wedding was at 3pm, and we were only allowed in the church venue at 12pm......you see, you can't hurry art......i don't like to decorate anymore within a short time frame......but still, i love decorating for weddings...
THE SHIRE
I visited the convenarium last night. Cool architecture. I love how they engineered the acoustics inside - eksakto ang tunog lalo na ang drums - tambol, my most favorite sound in a P&W band.
When was the last time I worshipped at BOL? Years ago, in a theater just blocks away from crossroad77 - that was every Sunday at 5am - wow.
(ngayon sa worship, 9am na nga, late pa!)
After the P&W, they flashed some slides on screen ... events ... announcements ... "The Shire" event?...nyaks, I recalled my previous post - Oh yea, the reason why I like the green isle so much - in my subconscious, I want to go back to the Shire - oh that's why I'm living in such a small place now - & I prefer it that way mind you - naku po! I like everything small? Sabi ko na nga ba - patay tayo diyan - barely 5' nga si Huram - aba, H O B B I T nga! - hmmm...and I like that I'm mostly underground now - di kita ng karamihan - hmmm huram, a hobbit in a hole :( not bad...

"Even the smallest person can change the course of the future."
Tingnan natin sa susunod na kabanata ni Huram...
* Galadriel: You are a Ring-bearer, Frodo.
To bear a Ring of Power is to be alone.[pulls out her hand]
* Galadriel: This is Nenya, the Ring of Adament. And I am it's keeper.
This task was appointed to you, and if you do not find a way, no one will.
* Frodo: I know what I must do, it's just that... I'm afraid to do it.
* Galadriel: Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.
Teka, hairy ba ang aking feet?
akala ko ito lang ang ating lahiiiiii!!!
o y? frodo! bilbo! basilio!

SOMETHING NEW
back to "Arial" no more "Courier"
i wasn't able to blog for some time
been busy with something old and something new
we were also finishing off the remaining items for the makeover project +
D E A D L I N E - O C T O B E R - O N E -
EVEYTHING SEEMED TOO IMPOSSIBLE
WE ALL KNEW THAT WE CAN'T BEAT THIS WITHOUT A BIG RESCUE
1ST STRUGGLE : MILENYO
FLOOD / RAIN / UNPASSABLE ROADS AKA "DELUBYO"
2ND STRUGGLE : LACK OF FUNDS
LAST PHASE OF THE PROJECT AND THE FUNDS ARE GOING, GOING, GONE
3RD STRUGGLE : NO POWER
NO POWER IN MOST PARTS OF MANDALUYONG INCLUDING MBCC; NO POWER TO PRINT OUR TARPAULINS; NO WAY TO TEST THE ELECTRICALS NEEDED FOR THE WATER FEATURE IN THE BAPTISTRY; NO WAY TO USE THE POWER TOOLS (CUTTER/DRILLS)
TRUE ENOUGH,
m i l e n y oreminded us of this amidst our struggles:
do we really need a proof to get that?
left: 2 days after milenyo
right in front of MBCC
1ST MIRACLE : VOLUNTEERS
VOLUNTEERS CAME "RAIN OR SHINE". SOMETIMES RENDERING OVERTIMES WITH THE FLICKER OF CANDLES AS THEIR ONLY SOURCE OF LIGHT.

2ND MIRACLE : PROVISION OF FUNDS
REMEMBER THIS POST. WE FELT FROM THE START THAT THE OVERALL LOOK OF THE CHURCH WILL MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE IF WE WERE TO CHANGE OUR "STAND" - the place or post where one stands aka FLOORING! NEW TILES FOR A 31'X36' FLOOR AREA. "SUMUKO NA SIYA SA FLOOR WAX! AYOKO NA, DI NA AKO KIKINTAB PA." FROM THE PREVIOUS ESTIMATE, WE NEEDED P70,000 or $1,400 using Ceramic Tiles to P155,000 or $1,800 using Granite Tiles. JUST TOO IMPOSSIBLE TO RAISE THAT - BUT NOT WITH GOD. TUESDAY CAME, FIVE DAYS BEFORE THE DEADLINE, I GOT A CALL FROM SOMEONE AKA "ANO NI MUS" - THE FUNDS WERE ALREADY RAISED!!! "ANO NI MUS" ASKED FOR DONATIONS FROM A GROUP OF PEOPLE OUTSIDE MBCC. THEY SHARED THE SAME HEART FOR THE PROJECT AND GAVE ACCORDINGLY. "ANO NI MUS" ALSO GOT A GOOD BARGAIN FOR 60X60 SEMI-GRANITE TILES FROM THE CONTRACTOR. FOR SAFETY REASONS (AGAINST POTENTIAL BORROWERS HEHE) HURAM WILL NOT DIVULGE HERE WHERE THIS FUNDING CAME FROM :) - ALL WERE FROM GOD ANYWAY :) YES, IT WAS A MIRACLE. 5 DAYS! TOP THAT :) THURSDAY, JUST 2 DAYS TO GO TO BEAT THE FRIDAY DEADLINE FOR THE TILES, POWER WENT OUT BECAUSE OF "MILENYO". THE CONTRACTOR'S TEAM HAD TO MANUALLY CUT THE TILES, RENDER OVERTIMES, WORK WITH THEIR LIGHTED CANDLES. THE WORK WAS NOT EXACTLY COMPLETED ON THEIR FRIDAY DEADLINE - BUT THE OVERALL LOOK CHANGED DRAMATICALLY (hey, i don't get to use this word often haha- it was really a "dramatic" miracle for all of us)

3RD MIRACLE : POWER BACK
THE EARLIEST SCHEDULE FOR US TO GET OUR ELECTRIC POWER BACK, ACCORDING TO MERALCO, IS SUNDAY, THE DAY OF OUR DEADLINE. NO WAY! WE GOT OUR POWER BACK LAST SATURDAY INSTEAD. "KAY LORD KAMI MALAKAS DI SA MERALCO HEHE" GOD PROVIDED A WAY TO FINISH THE WATER FEATURE FOR THE BAPTISTRY. THEN THE TARPAULINS, EVERYONE REJECTED OUR PRINTING JOB - ALMOST ALL OF THEM HAVE NO ELECTRICITY YET, SOME WERE RUSHING THEIR BACKLOGS - WE ONLY HAVE ONE DAY ALLOWANCE FOR THE PRINTING. SEARCHED http://buyandsellph.com AND GOT A NUMBER OF THIS COMPANY - WHO CALLS A BUSINESS ENTITY AT 7PM? SOMEONE ANSWERED, YIPEE, THEY HAVE GENERATORS :) GOT THE TARPAULIN PRINTED AND INSTALLED ON THE SAME DAY ( DELIVERED THE FILE IN SM NORTH AT 8AM AND GOT THE ITEMS IN ARANETA AVE AT 8PM , WHEW MILENYO )
JUST LIKE THE LESSON OF BAPTISM AND THIS MAKEOVER,
WE NEED GRACE
TO LET GO OF THE OLD YOU, AND RISE UP WITH SOMETHING NEW
TIME TO DEDICATE

TIME TO CELEBRATE

TIME TO EAT

TIME TO PLAY

TIME TO REMEMBER

TIME TO BE STILL

OOPS, WHY IS THAT CHANDELIER UP THERE? A DINING ROOM EH?

TIME TO RELAX, IT'S NOT PERFECT BUT GOD IS STILL AWESOME IN THIS PLACE

rush printing for this tarpaulin, i forgot the word "YOU" - on "WHEN YOU SEEK ME..."
can still be fixed :) HURAM - so not perfect hehe, tao lang poh!
NOW TIME FOR HURAM TO WORK ON MORE IMPORTANT TASKS AHEAD - THE GREAT COMMISSION - EXCUSE ME POH!
psst huram: hey, we're not yet done, we still need contributions for the following:
1. roofing
2. kid's toilet and bath
3. kid's kitchen
